Photo album for trip to France

Finally I finished my photo album from our 40th wedding anniversary trip to France this past summer. I made it in StoryBook Creator 4 from Creative Memories. It is very easy software to use. Ordering presented challenges since I had changed email addresses a few months ago and I had preordered an album several months ago when they had a sale. But the problem was finally settled today and my book is on the way to the printers. I can't wait to get it. Here are some copies of the pages.

There is another page from Normandy but when I uploaded it to facebook it didn't load so I don't have a copy right now. I will try and copy it from my Creative Memories software.

There are 14 more pages but they didn't upload to facebook either. Will try and get them later.
Oh, here is a picture of our Christmas card for 2011. I thought that since we went to France, it should have a French type of scene on the card. I stamped the Eiffel Tower and embossed it with gold. I know it should have been copper colored but the gold looked better.

The Holidays

The twins gave us a beautiful Eiffel Tower ornament for Christmas. I really love it. Wish I was there now.
They also made us this beautiful snowman ornament for our tree.
We really enjoyed seeing the boys. They are so adorable. They remind me so much of Adam & Alex when they were small. I can't wait until July to see them with Francois.
It won't be long before Bennett is walking.

Dec & Jan

We had a great Dec. card class. We made a really nice card. We used an embossing folder and a matching stamp to create the background. I really like this process. I didn't buy it because it was holly for Christmas and I have enough Christmas stuff but would love to have some others.
We also made a nice little bag with a snowman on it and packs of hot chocolate in it. I gave it to a really sweet teacher at school that always gives me little things.
We had a wonderful Christmas. Alex and Jessica were here for Christmas dinner on Christmas day. Brooke & Adam came with the boys the day after Christmas. They are so adorable. Jack would turn on the tree every morning as soon as he got up and turn it off whenever we left the house or when he went to bed. Bennett is so darn cute. He laughs and smiles all the time. We really had a great time with them. We took them to a new playground in Temple Terrace that Alex told us about. They had a great time.

Card class in January was really great. We made two beautiful cards. We used dies to make some of the elements. I bought the fence die.

During Christmas break I finally got Mrs. Wimberly's present finished. She is my principal and is becoming a grandma for the first time this spring. I made her an acrylic album. Here are pictures of some of the pages. Obviously, the baby is a girl.

I think it turned out really nice.
Right now I am still working on my album for our trip to France last summer. I am using my Creative Memories StoryBook album maker. They have a new version out, StoryBook 4 , and I uploaded it last night. I need to spend Monday and Tuesday finishing the album. We have Monday off, thanks to MLK, and Tuesday is a work day which I am taking off along with most of the teachers at my school. We need a 4 day weekend break.
